LVTC30:
For 120-600 volt applications.

The LVTC30 is a Low Voltage Termination Cabinet designed to fit on a standard transformer pad. This unit has been created to replace old transformers that were not located out at the street line. Utilities can re-feed the old transformer pad with cables from a new transformer located elsewhere and have a safe and convenient way of terminating the secondary conductors. They can also be used to replace older base mounted transformers with a less expensive pole mounted transformer. The tin plated copper buss bars have ten ½" holes to accept up to ten two hole crimped lugs. Buss bars project outwards horizontally similar to a transformer.

For Ordering Purposes:

LVTC30-1P-3W is a single phase three wire unit.
LVTC30-3P-4W is a three phase four wire unit.

LVTC42:
For 120-600 volt applications. Grounding lug and base fasteners are supplied.

The LVTC42 is a Low Voltage Termination Cabinet designed to mount on a Utilicon UP2022 pre-cast concrete base. It was initially designed for Tillsonburg as a means of eliminating old “Poletrans” units. Having these connections made above grade in a padlockable cabinet is far safer and more convenient than “flush to grade” units that tend to fill with water. This product is also ideal for new subdivisions where there are 4-12 houses across the street from the transformer. Rather than running 3/0 cables through the road crossing to the houses, you could run parallel 250MCM through the road crossing to the LVTC42 and then branch out to the houses with 3/0. The lugs in these units will handle up to fourteen cables as large as 250MCM. These can also be configured to accomodate larger cables with crimp lugs bolted to bus bars. There are also 36''x36'' precast concrete bases available to allow more space for cabling.

For Ordering Purposes:

LVTC42-1P-3W is a single phase three wire unit.
LVTC42-3P-4W is a three phase four wire unit.
